NEOPRENE V1.1
Improved speeds and minor issues fixed
This release has focused mainly on improving the speed of some secondary processes, mostly statistics computation, that was taking too long due to apparently unnecessary checks. Statistics are now computed much faster.
We have also solved some minor issues related to the tools used to evaluate and visualize the models.
Initial public release
This is the first public release of the NEOPRENE library. It implements functionality to deal with point precipitation at a given location or distributed in space.
The library can be installed with pip
following the instruction of the README.md file.
If you only want to test the library and follow the tutorials, we recommend to use the NEOPRENE-Setup-*
executable. It will check if Jupyterlab Desktop is installed, and in case it is not, it will download the installation program for you. Once Jupyterlab Desktop is installed, the executable will open the example Jupyter notebooks to test the library.
Beta version for checking full functionality of the library
The functionality of the library should now be complete. This beta version is to check installers and other things not related to the mathematics of the library itself.

The Zenodo metadata file gives some problems. I have tried to solve them. Let us keep our fingers crossed.
Minor problems solved with the test Jupyter Notebook
The test Jupyter Notebook was not functioning properly. Small changes were made to ensure that directories were correctly created to avoid errors.
First Zenodo-indexed release
This if the first release to be controlled by Zenodo. It includes very minor changes, that are purely cosmetic.
First public version of NEOPRENE
This is the first public version of the NEOPRENE library. Please, treat it like a beta version. All your input and bug reports will be much appreciated.
