Ideas for Radford Creativity Class

We as a group decided to render assistance to Jane Machin, an instructor in the Marketing department of Radford University who teaches Creativity. For her class, she often has outside groups come in, give a talk, and present a practical creative exercise for the class. We have volunteered to be one of those groups during the Spring 2016 semester.

Ideally, the exercise should meet the following criteria:

  • It should be doable by groups of 5-7 in a time frame of 50 minutes.
  • It should foster creativity among the students.
  • It should relatable to the marketing field in some way.
  • It should minimize materials cost.
  • It should not require the students to understand complex mathematics or technical disciplines in order to complete the exercise (remember, marketing students).
