Coding-Challenge-Game

Welcome to the Coding Challenge Game! This project is a web-based game where users can solve coding challenges and compete with others on the leaderboard.

Features Coding Challenges: Users can solve coding problems presented in the game. Scoring System: Users earn points for solving problems correctly. Leaderboard: The leaderboard displays high scores achieved by users. User Profiles: Users can register, log in, and update their profiles. Hints System: Users can use hints to get help with solving problems. Levels: Multiple levels with increasing difficulty are available. Technologies Used Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript Backend: Node.js, Express.js Database: MongoDB (with Mongoose ODM) Deployment: Heroku (Backend), Netlify (Frontend) Installation Clone the repository:

Create a .env file in the root directory and add the following environment variables:

plaintext Copy code PORT=3000 MONGODB_URI=mongodb://localhost:27017/coding_challenge_game Replace MONGODB_URI with the connection URI for your MongoDB database.

Start the server:

Open your web browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000.

Usage Register or log in to start playing the game. Solve coding challenges to earn points. View the leaderboard to see high scores achieved by users. Use hints if you get stuck on a problem. Complete levels to unlock new challenges. Contributing Contributions are welcome! If you'd like to contribute to this project, please follow these steps:
