Summary:

The provided code change is an update to the requirements.txt file, which lists the Python dependencies required for the DefectDojo application. The specific change is the update of the uWSGI package from version 2.0.26 to 2.0.27.

From an application security perspective, the changes in this requirements.txt file are not particularly concerning. The update to the uWSGI package is likely a routine update to address bug fixes or minor improvements, and does not appear to introduce any significant security implications. However, it's important to regularly review the requirements.txt file to ensure that all dependencies are up-to-date and free of known security vulnerabilities, as outdated or vulnerable dependencies can introduce potential attack vectors. Additionally, it's a good practice to have a process in place to monitor the security of the application's dependencies, such as using tools like snyk or dependabot to automatically scan the dependencies and notify the team of any identified vulnerabilities.

Files Changed:

  • requirements.txt: The requirements.txt file has been updated to use version 2.0.27 of the uWSGI package, which is a routine update that does not appear to introduce any significant security concerns.

We don't want to upgrade uwsgi until they fix this.

OK, I won't notify you again about this release, but will get in touch when a new version is available. If you'd rather skip all updates until the next major or minor version, let me know by commenting @dependabot ignore this major version or @dependabot ignore this minor version. You can also ignore all major, minor, or patch releases for a dependency by adding an ignore condition with the desired update_types to your config file.

If you change your mind, just re-open this PR and I'll resolve any conflicts on it.
