Bumps debugpy from 1.8.1 to 1.8.2.

Release notes

Sourced from debugpy's releases.

debugpy v1.8.2

Fixed an issue where ApiScan couldn't scan some of our binaries correctly. This involved changing some linker flags and re-compiling/re-linking some of the pydevd executables and dlls.

This doesn't affect debugpy logic in any way.

The following is a summary of changes in this pull request made by me, your security buddy 🤖. Note that this summary is auto-generated and not meant to be a definitive list of security issues but rather a helpful summary from a security perspective.

Summary:

The provided code changes in the requirements.txt file indicate an update to the debugpy library from version 1.8.1 to 1.8.2. This is a minor version update, which typically includes bug fixes and improvements, but does not introduce major new features or breaking changes.

From an application security perspective, the changes in this requirements.txt file do not seem to introduce any significant security concerns. The updated libraries are generally well-known and widely used, and there are no obvious security-related updates or changes that stand out. However, it's always important to review the release notes and change logs for any updated dependencies to ensure that there are no known security vulnerabilities or issues that could impact the application. Additionally, it's a good practice to regularly review the entire set of dependencies in the requirements.txt file and update them to the latest stable versions, as this helps to keep the application secure and up-to-date.

Files Changed:

  • requirements.txt: This file has been updated to include a newer version of the debugpy library, from 1.8.1 to 1.8.2. This is a minor version update, which typically includes bug fixes and improvements, but does not introduce major new features or breaking changes.
