Configure Clickatell as SMS Provider

NOTE: Before you can use Clickatell as a SMS provider for RescueMe, you need a valid account.

You need following parameters before you can proceed:

• Clickatell API ID (use Clickatell API Management Console)
• Clickatell account username
• Clickatell account password

Then,

1. Logon to Rescue
2. Goto System -> Setup
3. Click dropdown button beside Edit on line Rescue\SMS\Provider
4. Select option Rescue\SMS\Clickatell
5. Enter credentials collected above
6. Copy callback url
7. Click Save

###Clickatell Callback URL

This allows Clickatell to update RescueMe with SMS delivery status.

1. Open Clickatell API Management Console
2. Click on selected API
3. Click on button right of Enable your app to receive message delivery notifications
4. Enter URL copied above
5. Click Save Changes

###Customize Sender ID

Clickatell supports custom Sender ID, but it usually requires a manual approvement process unless you use same number that you used to activated you Clickatell account with. Use this page to manage custom Sender IDs.
