Connect to the system interface

Now that you have the SD card loaded with the Hydrosys4 SW, it is time to power on the Raspberry PI.

After few seconds the system will be ready and if everything has gone right, you should be able to see a new WiFi network generated by the Raspberry which act as a WiFi access point. Below the name and password of wifi network

Name of the network: hydrosys4-xxx

password: hydrosystem

NOTE: in case these values have been changed during installation setup (expert installation) the new values have to be used.

Connect to the WiFi network, on some devices you will get a warning “Internet not available”, this is normal as you are connecting to the raspberry not to internet.

Once the network is connected, open any web browser and type the URL as follow:

http://192.168.1.172:5172

(please note that in case you have modified the IP address and port during the expert installation, you require to use the new values).

NOTE: This is a local connection with the raspberry, it uses the http protocol which does not encrypt the data. Some browser will display a warning telling that the connection is not secure. In this case you can ignore the warning and go ahead as this is a direct connection.

Great, now the hydrosys4 web interface should be up on your smartphone or PC.

Now enter the default username and password:

username: admin

password: default

NOTE: It is always recommended to change the password.
