Welcome to the Panoptic wiki!

While deep learning models are really powerful tools to work with images they're not perfect, require some coding skills to be used and we also believe they're good providers of additionnal information to your datasets but they are a mean not an end, and manipulating and visualising the images directly in a proper UI should still be the main motivations of researchers wanted to work with images. Therefore we built this software to be able to integrate this models directly in an interface along with other metadata.

In this wiki we'll define the main concepts used in panoptic, and detailling exactly how panoptic is working under the hood.
