Localization - AJAX Chat in your language

Translation files

To contribute a localization, you have to translate the following files:

• lib/lang/en.php
• js/lang/en.js

Additionally, the translation of your language name is needed for the list of available languages in lib/config.php, e.g.:
"German"=>"Deutsch"

Translation rules

Please make sure your translation follows these rules:

• Make sure you encode your localization files in UTF-8 (without Byte-order mark).
• Don't use HTML entities in your localization files.
• Don't remove any %s inside js/lang/*.js.
• Don't change commands (e.g. /join) inside lib/lang/*.php - these are always english
• Please don't change the example URL http://example.org inside lib/lang/*.php
• Please don't change the title (AJAX Chat) inside lib/lang/*.php - you may change it on your installation, but the localizations of the official download should show the same title
• Test your localization thoroughly (creating any possible language specific output) and check if no errors are produced
• If you pack your localizations into an archive, please use an open format like BZIP, GZIP, 7-Zip or ZIP (Windows users can use 7-Zip)
