Disregard, appears that is normal activity and will advise our ITS 'Yes, the XamarinBuildDownloadCache can have .locked file extensions. This is because the .locked file is used to prevent contention between projects or instances of Visual Studio. Changing the filename could cause other projects or instances to use older versions of Xamarin.Build.Download, which could lead to contention. " |

Using Visual Studio 2022
Have long path issue was trying to run your instruction rm -Force -Recurse XamarinBuildDownloadCache
Raised issues on my box by threatlocker due to pathing being full of locked files. locked files are not a good sign. ideas?
