FWIW, I restarted (as opposed to rebooted) HA today and updated Z-Wave JS UI today without devices going dead. I'm not certain whether either of those actions would be expected to trigger an add-on restart, so I'm not certain whether this changes anything (i.e. firmware failure before add-on restart somehow being related to other devices going dead). Also, because I believe I forgot to mention it in the original submission, one other (non-Inovelli) device went dead in the first instance, but I assumed it had routing issues with so many dead Inovelli devices (as mentioned in the original submission, there was much more "mess" to the first instance). |

Describe the issue
What is happening?
I have been installing a new firmware version on my Inovelli 2-1 switches. One of them failed to update several days ago and again today. I am going to quote my (based on memory and not necessarily 100% accurate) notes on the first failure so that they can be skipped and subsequently referenced if necessary, as the logs I am providing are for today's instance.
After today's failure, the switch did not present as a battery device when I tried to re-interview it, but instead reported dead. Assuming the behavior was likely similar to the first instance, I restarted the Z-Wave JS UI add-on, and after the restart, 8 switches were showing as dead and the switch that failed to upgrade was showing as a battery device again. I tried to re-interview the device in question and it was successful, so it stopped presenting as a battery device. I then collected logs for review.
What did you expect to happen instead?
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
I'm not sure how much of this, if any, is reproducible outside of my environment...
Anything else we should know?:
Node 84 came alive on its own while I was preparing this form, so I collected new logs that should also include ping attempts to all dead nodes after the restart and whatever lead to the alive state.
