Hi!

I pulled a new update. Now, changes on cmis repository are refreshed on redmine side as you navigate through documents (just changes on repository documents, not folders)

I hope it'll be useful, any comment is welcomed!

Tx for this!

The original goal of this request was to be able to use alfresco not only as backend, but redmine as "jump in frontend". So all strcuture in redmine repository on alfresco shall be "visible" on redmine gui. Means also new folders.
This would be more than just a replacement for redmine doucments, but "unlimited folder structure would be possible not only
category>files -- aka on elevel hierarchy.

CMIS also supports locking and versioning as far as i know, this too features shall be implemented to, as for med sized and bigger teams overwriting files (or versioning via file names) and working on the same document is a important requirment.
If this features are supported, alfresco features can be used completely besides redmine, but redmine will make completly use of the data kep in alfresco.

The last thing which must be integrated is a sigle sign on concept for redmine users and roles on cmis/alfresco.

The "redmine dmsf plugin":http://code.google.com/p/redmine-dmsf/ has code fragements for this done already , could be somehow usable to make this possible -- means locking, versioning and workflow.

However withou using cmis and webdav the dmsf plugin doesn't make sence for us..
Use standards ;)

Thanks, I really appreciate your interest and comments!

I understand your needs, but sadly they are far away from our original goal (just adapt the current documents tab to provide cmis integration). Having a n depth document tree is really interesting indeed, but I'm afraid we don't have the required time to perform that tasks right now. Anyway, I hope we'll be able to work on new upgrades for the plugin soon.

Regards!
