Platform Details

CentOS 7

If node['spamassassin']['spamd']['enabled'] = false, the spamassassin is still restarting after any modification.

Can you fix it by adding something like this each time service[#{service_name}] is notified?

notifies :restart, "service[#{service_name}]" if node['spamassassin']['spamd']['enabled']
