Zowe Cannot Detect/Connect to zOSMF

Not sure when it happened. But all the sudden Zowe can't connect to zosmf. Zowe starts up, I can reach the login page, but I get an APIML 503 error when I try to login. I spent all day digging through the logs and such and realized two errors in the logs (cert error and a vsam error are not actually a problem - I compared to our production installation which is running fine and has those errors).

This is the one that seems to be pointing to the root issue:

So Zowe cannot connect to the host. I went through checking IP address and hostnames and port numbers etc, via the instance.env file and others. Everything looks good. I can't figure out for the life of me what is wrong.

Any help would be so much appreciated.

I'm going to try to attached the log files I pulled from the task itself and the zowe logs.

Ps. Where do I add "zowe_debug=request"
