Constantly "Reducing notes..."

What happened?

Half the time I ask a question, it responds: "Reducing notes..." with a varying number of notes indicated. It then sits there for ten minutes doing this. This is with Ollama Qwen2 7B which can respond quite quickly to a direct query on my Ryzen 9 5950X with 16 cores, 32 threads and 128GB of RAM (no useful GPU at present.)

Trying to make this work, I purged the index. Now I have to wait another four hours to test it again. This is not a usable tool.

Error Statement

No error. Developer Console shows nothing.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Run initial indexing (takes four hours for around 3,000 notes.)
2. Make a query.
3. Get "Reducing notes..."
4. Wait ten minutes or more for a response (which then more than likely is completely irrelevant.)
