hi Yilun,

I think this was a very interesting topic, and one that I had not known about prior to your poster. I think over all your poster offers some interesting insights and unique approaches to tackling a nuanced issue. Using the movie database and ratings was a very clever approach!

Aesthetically speaking, I like how your graph has a similar color pallets and tone throughout each section. I did notice on your graphs that the axis names were what looks to be the column name in our data frame (i.e. 'yr' instead of 'Year'), I suggest changing that to make the poster more appealing to a conference setting. I would also probably use gridline in your graphs to make the visualizing easier to read an understand. Also, the graphs in the validation section of the poster are really squished together and hard to read.

Also, I would have like to see a table of summary statistics from your data set. I think the graphs are great for capturing different aspects of specific variables but seeing a battery of statistics for your variables allows for more contextualization and quick understanding of how variables possibly relate to one another. Finally, I would find a way to make the equations a little easier to understand/read. Looking at your poster I can see how the equations are important but I think they lose their impact when they're spread over so many lines in your poster.

This is a great topic and unique data set, I really enjoyed the project!
