What happens to notification when computer is not used

What happens with notifications while I am not at the computer? They are not shown at all, right? So as an example, I have the E-Mail-Time session from 13:00-13:30 but only got back at the computer at 13:10 - and as far as I noticed the notification was also not shown in my notifications list, so there is no way to still start that session if I am not at the computer at the exact time it starts. Does it maybe make sense to show these late notifications?

Also here we can try to think about if this is for after the study (and master project) or if we need this urgently changed. I think it could also be put onto the list for "Future improvements
