As said in gherkin-lint 117 issue. eslint is reporting linting and parsing errors to stdout and config file errors to stderr. We could do the same.

  • breaking change: pickle-lint . -c text.stdout 2> text.stderr behaves different after solving the issue.
  • fixed on the next major release: 4.0.0
