Crashing #131
Comments
Could you post the cosave and .fos file? |
Here you go. I had to fish it out of the recycle bin. Lucky it was still there. |
I just wanted to confirm that I am reasonably sure that the issue is with the co-save. If I load a save, sometimes it works, sometime it doesn't (crashed changing cells and generates a similar NVAC log). If it doesn't work, deleting the co-save will get it going again. If I then save again, loading the consequent save usually will crash changing cells, necessitating deleting the co-save again. This pattern is 100% repeatable, at least in my game. It feels like the co-save is getting corrupted, somehow. |
Downloaded nvse v5 by accident and new vegas/new california was able to start new game. Than replaced it with nvse v6 latest now when i click on new game it does not open just stays on title screen lol clicking on it over and over again does not work. |
Three weeks and no response. Meanwhile, all I get is this on a previously working game (no other changes than updating xNVSE and JIP): "29152931 _ NewVegasAntiCrash FalloutNV.exe |
Seems like it's caused by lack of flip model in your FNV install :/ |
Try using Cobb Crashlogger with NVAC disabled. That's what a lot of NVSE people will recommend when asking for help with a crash. Maybe post a load order too. |
What's a flip model? |
Will post a cobb log in a few. edit: cobb is no help: Even though I get the same ILS/crash as described above and at least NVAC is able to capture it. Otherwise, I have provided what was asked of me. |
I started ILS/crashing transitioning between cells (both interior/exterior and fast travel). No changes to load order except updating xNVSE, NVTF, Heap Replacer, and JIP. Can't isolate to any one of those, though. NVAC is pointing the finger at xNVSE and the nvse log looks problematic. It seem OK if i delete the associated nvse co-save. But if I save again, and a new co-save is created, then the crashing starts all over. I uploaded NVAC and NVSE logs to show the errors without and without the co-save. If the issue is on my end, I apologize for wasting your time
