Expected behavior

Page Layout Picker crashes does not crash when resuming from the background

Actual behavior

Page Layout Picker crashes when resuming from the background

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. Tap the fab ➕ icon on the My Site screen
  2. Select Site page
  3. Put the app to the background
  4. Notice the the app crashes with a TransactionTooLargeException

Note: Similar issues have been noticed in the past under #9685

Tested on Pixel 5, Android 11, WPAndroid 17.1
