Getting error that "The note '' is too long to sync. Shorten the note and sync again." Does Better Notes effect this?

I've been using Zotero + Better Notes as an all in one research tool and it's been nothing short of revolutionary for me. I've been really enjoying not having to use another app for notetaking and that it's all in one place. However, because I use massive "master documents" to add all my reading notes in one place, I'm starting to get the error that The note '' is too long to sync. Shorten the note and sync again. This is really screwing up my workflow as it won't let me sync things.

I was wondering 1) does Better Note effect this error at all? and 2) has anyone who is also using Better Notes had this error and resolved it? Important to know I also have the paid version.

This is from Zotero, they have a max note length, which is usually not reached for most users (I've only seen it reported once or twice in the past two years).

Usually, we'd expect you won't write a book-long note in Zotero. Most of the cases are people have note generated by some other plugins.

Hmm okay, it's annoying because mostly what I'm doing is taking down quotes from the sources, but I will make multiple notes if I have to.

If that's a normal usage maybe you could consider reporting it to the Zotero forums, to argue that you need a larger note size for syncing.

But as always, putting everything in one note is not a very good idea, even applications designed for word processing like MS Word do not perform very well with very big documents. I would say to have one note under each item for note-taking while reading and connect these notes to a standalone note with the note link.
