It's not really related to a problem. It's more so a suggestion.

My feature request is about implementing the classic new tab page that was used prior to the 2018 ui refresh as seen below.

Describe alternatives you've considered
I've tried using an extension called "Old New Tab" but it doesn't have the search bar above the links. In addition to the fact that it replicates the earlier versions of the new tab page prior to Chrome 33 and not later versions.
Additional context
The reason for my request is because supermium has options to enable the classic ui and I felt that it wasn't entirely complete without the old new tab page
