Certain versions of chrome from around 2012-2016? had a feature that would boot chrome as if it was a standard windows 8 metro app designed for touch. unlike the ios and android app, the windows 8 mode acted more like an alternate desktop enviroment, you could minimize and move pages, and it also had a taskbar consisting of chrome's default apps, This feature only worked if you had chrome as your default browser.
I really don't think anyone will actually be willing to reimplement this onto supermium since no one aside from me will probably use it or if its even possible at all, but i still think it would be worth asking anyway, i'm just really desperate for a windows 8 metro browser that actually works.
Sorry if my english sucks, if you have zero idea of what i'm talking about, i think this video from about 1 year ago demonstrates the feature pretty well
