I just reinstalled Tab Session Manager, and it looks like everything is still there. A relief. I can also identify the extensions I had installed by looking through the IDs listed in |

I've managed to recover all my extensions by looking up the extension IDs or in the log files; luckily I save backup copies of the extensions and still had my previous browser installed. Those flags do need a data loss warning adding urgently. The next person might not be as tech savvy or careful as me.I've also found that with encryption disabled, the password manager does not work. |

I just enabled the flags
#disable-encryption
and#disable-machine-id
, and lost all my extensions and passwords. Bookmarks, history and flags were unharmed.I save all passwords to a KeePass database, so no data lost there. It's my extensions I'm worried about - I can't remember which I have installed, and I've lost some custom uBlock rules and (the most critical) the last few weeks of browser sessions from Tab Session Manager.
Is there any recovering of that? I've checked the User Data folder, and there's still the Local Extension Settings and IndexedDB - is anything recoverable from there?
Can a data loss warning be put on those flags?
