Is it possible to make the trapezoidal tabs slightly bigger?

I love the trapezoidal tab implementation!...but the tabs are pretty small, and aren't very easy to click at a wrist flick. They're also much smaller than actual old chrome (this screenshot is from chrome 68)

You have enabled compact UI yourself. If you have such poor dexterity that you can't hit the controls, just don't touch these flags. By default, tabs should have even larger size than on your screenshot:

I think it's better to allow passing density, width and padding from a config file or variables, and developers already mentioned that something like this could be implemented.

I looked through the flags for a while before posting this, never found such an option, and when I look it up,

I agree with your notion of a customizable size through variables or a config file, though.

Edit: Enabling and disabling the flag turned it off, dunno why it was like that to begin with.

It's also possible to set custom scaling by adding CLI --force-device-scale-factor=X (default 1, shrink = 0.XX, enlarge = 1.XX)

I am building an external component that will provide direct control over UI metrics and colours, and possibly custom shapes for elements such as the tabs and new tab button.
