Feature request: Remote fs access

First, thank you for the amazing work. I'm not sure where to post this, so I will do it here. Feel free to move this topic somewhere else:

I was wondering if it's feasible to have remove FS access. Instead of connecting HDD to the device, be able to mount/connect to a external server like nfs or smb. Or custom made protocol, like with ps3 (https://github.com/aldostools/webMAN-MOD/wiki/~-PS3-NET-Server).
