Black screen and/or crashes with HBL2HBC, and other forwarders. WUP Installer GX2 also black screens when trying to write.

Basically the title, when I try to run HBL2HBC from the homebrew launcher, or anything like WUP Installer GX2, I either get a black screen right at launcher, or in the case of WUP Installer GX2, it happens when I try to install anything.

Also, backing out of HBL gives me a "There's a problem with the system memory" error. Isn't it normally supposed to go to the mii channel?

This is a common thing with WUP installer if you're using USB sticks as storage, in my experience.
