The current(just so) latest stable version is 1.3. It has some significant improvements, notably class based views and better static file support while maintaining fairly good backwards compatibility. There are some deprecated item and compatibility issues detailed here:http://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/releases/1.3/. They mostly apply to items that this project is not into yet. It is what I am developing against. Just wondering if it might be a good idea to get ahead of the curve and eliminate future upgrade issues.
