Especially on the forums and the wiki, not being able to distinguish which links have previously been visited is rather annoying.

I would suggest that you use a custom stylesheet for this if it's a major issue for you. It wasn't part of the design plan for Wesmere to style visited links differently. Additionally, the forums style is developed by phpBB and not us and it's not part of its design either for visited links to be styled differently.

Why exactly is it "part of the design plan" to remove basic features that the browser provides?
