Packagepane
Description Cross-platform WebKit binding
Node Version >= 0.6.14

Pane allows you to spawn and manipulate webkit windows asynchronously from node. Want to write a desktop app or game in node and HTML5? Use pane!

Installation

To install pane, use npm:

$ npm install pane

Dependencies

A full installer for each OS will be available soon.

Ubuntu

$ sudo apt-get install -y libqtwebkit-dev

OSX

$ brew install qt

Arch Linux

$ sudo pacman -S qtwebkit

Usage

Pane = require 'pane'

opt =
  title: 'Test'
  height: 500
  width: 500
  html: 'Hello world!'

window = new Pane opt

window.on 'open', -> console.log 'opened!'
window.on 'close', -> process.exit()
window.on 'console', (msg, line, file) -> console.log msg, line, file

window.open()

window.execute 'console.log("test2");'
window.move 500, 100
window.html 'i moved!'
window.title 'new title heyooo'
console.log window.execute 'document.location.href'
