Yeah, this is an issue. The app has an option to quickly switch two identical displays but this does not work for 3 identical displays. I don't have an easy solution for this. You can use the app's CLI and reposition displays that way, maybe creating a script for the common scenarios. For the Dell displays their serial or alphanumerical number might be different? |

Hello,
First, thank you for creating BetterDisplay! It's an outstanding utility that has been a big help configuring my monitors. I bought the Pro Version and love it.
Apologies if this has been discussed, but I didn't see it during a search.
I have a three-external-display setup running on a MacBook Pro M3. The monitors are all 48" LG OLED B4 TV's. I'm a video editor and switch each day between my home and work offices. The problem is, each time I come home and reconnect, the displays change order, and I have to manually rearrange them back to normal.
I know BetterDisplay has a Layout Protection feature. But my monitors all appear as the same make, model, and serial number to macOS.
Is there a way to make a unique ID for each display so I can make the Layout protection work correctly? Or am I missing something else?
Note: at work, I have three of the same 32" Dell monitors, but the OS always keeps them in the same order even without BetterDisplay.
