Can Better Display raise min refresh rate to prevent flicker when no updates on screen render occur?

Can Better Display add 120hz refresh rate option for built in displays?

Hi there - hmm. Did not know about this issue (not experienced so far on my MBPs). But sadly this seems to be a hardware issue, probably related to VRR. There is a way to fix this by artificially creating a 120Hz 1px nearly-invisible (transparent) animation on screen which forces the screen to 120Hz but that will drain the battery.

There is an issue for this but did not implement it so far as I am not sure how useful that would be.

I'm struggeling with a similar issue on an external oled display with 240Hz. If I enable variable refresh rate (48-240Hz) I will get VRR flickering. On PC there seems to be a workaround with CRU to raise the refreshrate to the max + 1Hz (eg 241Hz). Is this possible with BetterDisplay?
