Hope to add resolution for rotate display

This app is so great to fix my problem of none hidpi with my 2k monitor. But there is a question that if I choose mirror from dummy display I can't rotate my display in normal, although there is an option you could change the rotate into 90 but the display also horizontal not vertical. I guess the reason is there is 1920x1080 resolution but no 1080x1920. Could you add these resolution to fix it ?

Hi,

you can rotate the display, but it is a bit tricky.

1. Remove all dummies
2. Rotate the physical display to 90 or 270 degrees as usual
3. Create a 9:16 dummy
4. Mirror the dummy to the rotated physical display

You should end up with a setup resembling this:

Hi i don't know what's mean of 'create', you mean i need xcode to create of it ?

Thanks for your reply ! I did it by Xcode! But on my screen there is no 'hidpi' but actually it's hidpi

Yes, interestingly macOS uses two sets of styles to indicate HiDPI resolutions. Sometimes there is a (HiDPI) marking next to the hidpi resolution, other times there is a (low resolution) marking next to the non-hidpi resolution in System Preferences/Displays. This is an other Apple thing you have to live with. :)

I'll convert this issue into a Q&A discussion so others might benefit.
