Could you please give more explanation what aesthetic rating is ?
Maybe a reference to some description.
I run this code through a diverse subset of anime art and found some correlations with attractiveness score function

  • crowded and rich of text images got low ranking, ecchi too
  • high ranking images are full of details and colors, often characterless

But it's only a hypothesis.

UPDATE: possibly this is the implementation of LAION-Aesthetics
Nevertheless more details will be desirable.
