Hi Guys, I know that VSCO Keys is no longer supported by VSCO, but there's a new fresh bug which disturbes processing images using VSCO Keys in new Lightroom Update 10.1.

The problem happens both on Windows 64 bit and macOS Catalina version 10.15.6 on iMac (and probably on every other machines too).

Every time I would try to change the white balance using "Q" "W" "E" "R" shortcuts for setting the white balance, the change would be shown properly in the editing History, however the WB would suddently change to (Custom WB, Temp 2000, Tint -150)

Here's a link to more detailed post on Adobe Community: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic/vsco-keys-plugin-shortcut-bug-with-lightroom-classic-10-1-mac/td-p/11679828?page=1

Guys, is there any chance to help with that? We need the plugin to get our work done...

Regards,
Tom

Hi Tom,

Sorry to hear you're facing this issue. I've tested this case scenario but it seems to work fine with the latest release of VSCO Keys that I maintain for macOS (https://github.com/cajames/vsco-keys/releases/tag/v2.0.5).

I've also responded in the Adobe Community post.

Please let me know what version of VSCO Keys you are using.

Hi @tomsocoolsky,

I don't have a Windows machine so I haven't built it for that. However, I suspect the changes that would be relevant to you might only apply to the LR Plugin. So perhaps you try replacing the plugin you have in Lightroom with this version that I have modified: VSCOKeys.lrplugin.zip

Let me know if that works for you!

Kind regards,

Chris

Hello and happy new year
the cajames solution above worked for me - windows 10 and vscokeys v.2.0.0 win
you have to download and unzip this :
VSCOKeys.lrplugin.zip
copy file Client.lua and paste /repleace it to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\vscokeys\VSCOKeys.lrplugin\
and
C:\Users%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Modules\VSCOKeys.lrplugin

Then restart lightroom and it will work
all best for you. :)

ps thank you cajames

Do you know how to customize the keys in Windows, I know how to do it on Mac, but can't figure it out in windows, thanks!

@snaphappy I remember I tried to customize the keys in Windows few years ago, but I couldn't. So at the moment I don't know, but I'm interested to see how to customize the keys if anyone can show us :)
