Dear VIP community,
Despite my best efforts, I have not been able to find a set of VIP dependency versions that works when I try to install VIP in a fresh Python 3.7 conda environment. This has been the case for a couple of weeks now, and results in failed automated Python 3.7 tests (only). I am therefore considering discontinuing the support for Python 3.7.
If you would like support to be continued and have the latest version of VIP working on Python 3.7, could you please reply to this message by July 31, 2023, specifying the set of versions for VIP dependencies that work for you (ideally by attaching new requirements files replacing the ones attached below, for hciplot and VIP respectively).
Thank you for your comprehension.
Valentin
