Alternative bots like Jeanne implement speech recognition for commands using the legacy Google Speech API. Based on knowledge I gained from reading through the source code, assuming all the functionality from the legacy API is also available in the newer Google Cloud Speech API, this could be ported as a plugin to this project.

  • Set up barebones for Google Cloud Speech API usage
  • Integration with command API
  • Localization for recognition patterns
