How to run TCE on your local workstation

Hi folks,

With some help from the community, I created a small guide on using TCE on a local workstation.

This includes a set of pre-configured packages (such as Contour, Prometheus, Grafana, Knative) suited for a local use, and demo apps. This is based on the unmanaged-cluster plugin with 0.10.0-rc.4.

Featuring:

• ready to use installation - the default configuration gives you a Kubernetes cluster with ingress controller, so that you can deploy apps in a matter of minutes, no need to edit YAML files
• meta-packages with an opinionated configuration - following instructions from https://tanzucommunityedition.io/docs/latest/solutions-opinionated-install-package/, you may use this project to create your own meta-packages with a custom repo

I really enjoyed the unmanaged-cluster feature. This is exactly what I need for my local workstation: a simple way to spawn a Kubernetes cluster, while still leveraging the awesome packages from TCE.
