I would like when using the share option in another app, such as a web browser, sharing to amethyst was an option

Latest version of amethyst allows this.

Sharing from a browser I have "Amethyst New Post" avilable as an option.

Can you verify the latest version number? From my repository it appears i have the latest version (at least comptabilte with Android 8) v0.91.0-FDROID and the option is not present.

93.1 is the latest. Available here on github

Ah yes, I see now. Latest version in f-droid repo is 0.91 which doesn't have the share feature.
