Thank you for this neat and useful application!

I've noticed that click2hide does not work with WhatsApp. I am running macOS Sonoma 14.7.1 on a MacBook Pro M3 Max. My WhatsApp has been installed through homebrew.

However, I do not think this is an issue with click2hide specifically. I'm running Phoenix on my desktop to automate window tiling on demand using keyboard shortcuts. Phoenix also does not work with WhatsApp if I refer to WhatsApp by its app name. You can see my phoenix config here. What fixes it is referring to WhatsApp by its package name net.whatsapp.WhatsApp. I suspect that is also the case in this situation.

osascript should have an API for getting the bundle ID of an application.

My clicking habits are grateful to you.

I noticed that there are quite some apps doesn't follow the default macOS scheme and could result with similar issue. From time to time it could hit the performance under certain situations.

I therefore redesigned this app from bottom up and released it as a pay-what-you-want app in GumRoad App Store. Please check it out there.
