[featurerequest]
as an idea i'd prefer to trial with peoples opinions before actually doing, what would the thoughts be on splitting up the different functions of brain damage into different types of damage? (although in the least i'd plan mercury, impedrezene and diseases still target all of them)
for instance, mental stuff targeting item dexterity/knowledge, motor skills targeting collapses and door headbutts, speech areas targeting the part that makes people say the brain damage lines we all know and love.
i think head trauma might cause some areas to take damage at random, but brain surgery via "lobotomies" would be the only way to reliably hinder an individual area
and also, an additional possible type that affects memory maybe? removing stuff from your notes or adding nonsense.

Similar idea, but it would be funny if you could remove individual eyes to black out half of the screen

all it really does in reality is remove depth perception, for a better idea

removing one eye replaces the kino walls with TEE GEE walls in the affected client

I'm all up for this, but it would require specific methods to choose which brain area you are targeting on surgery and a sign that you're braindamaged, as you could have the motor skills issue but not know why.
Maybe even add specialized braindamage chems.

Sounds like a mechanic that will become nothing but confusing to affected players unless very well spelled-out, and additionally, what point would it serve?

More depth and you could cuck the shitterclown by lobotomizing his motor skills area.
