Mailchimp section doesn't appear in group settings and submit buttons don't appear on sync pages #322

This is with CiviCRM 5.12.3 and Drupal 8.6.15.

Having resolved some install issues, I've found that there are UI problems. Going to the group settings, there is a mailchimp_settings table in the DOM, but it has display: none;. It looks like whatever javascript syncs the initial form state to the database is probably not running.

On the sync and pull pages, the "dry run" checkbox and submit buttons don't appear. There is a crm-submit-buttons div, but it is empty.

Are these minor issues that I could help with resolving? Or is running this extension on recent CiviCRM versions going to be a lot harder than I think?

I've have run into the same issue.
"Sync Contacts" buttons don't appear on Mailchimp Pull/Push Sync screens.
I've got installed CiviCRM 5.21.1 and I've tested it with Mailchimp extension versions 2.0 and 2.0.1.
Any help will be very much appreciated.

I moved our organization to Mosaico in Civi + Amazon SES. It was a lot of work, and there are a couple things I still need to get fixed (like click tracking). But now we get to save money by canceling MailChimp!

@cristina-p @johncronan sorry about the lack of comms on this extension.

As a consultancy we were responsible for both the mailchimp and mosaico extensions and at the time of GDPR mailchimp were not being open about their data policies so we effectively were moving clients to mosaico with an email gateway.

However, GDPR has now calmed down and we can pick up the CiviCRM Mailchimp extension again.

If there are specific issues/use cases please do raise them, we may (probably will) need funding to maintain the extension as our pro bono efforts are highly geared towards mosaico.

Hope that makes sense and please do let me know if you need anymore information.
