Using Sync2 2.0.2 AppImage on Linux (Ubuntu 16.04) I cannot link a Ledger Nano X to it. I am able to use the old Vechain Sync perfectly fine.

@XJWX89 thanks that fixed the linking issue. However im still experiencing what the person in #230 is seeing. When I go to https://vexchange.io/swap and try to connect the wallet on Chromium in Linux, it prompts to open Sync and when you click on it a pop says "Open xdg-open?" and if you click "Open xdg-open" button it does nothing. I dont see how we are supposed to get the wallet and the browser aware of each other on Linux.

@XJWX89 thanks, that worked and its seeing the wallet as expected now. One thing I noticed though is that when I associated the wallet with vexchange.io it wanted me to sign a transaction message to give it permission, however I did not see the message hash displayed in Sync 2 so that I could confirm that the hash that my Ledger is asking me to sign is actually the one sent by Sync 2. So if I sign it im basically blind signing the message hash.

I can open a separate ticket for that if you want though, this one can be closed.

@jz29549 Sync is still too new and rough around the edges, I wouldnt trust it to send funds.

Use the old Vechain Thor wallet and you shouldnt have any issues.

if you have multiple Ledger devices, please make sure you are connected with the correct device. sometimes update firmware may reset the ledger device and need to restore from recovery phrase. please follow the instructions to restore your device.

The easiest way to check whether the Ledger device is the device you imported , you can import the Ledger device again and check the address is still the same. if not it will import the "new ledger device"
