Type issues when using contracts with strictly defined types

Hi, I'm noticing a type issue when using theme contracts with strictly defined types like textAlign. Is there a right way to deal with this?

Code:

Error:

Avoiding the error:
textAlign: colGroupHeaderVars.textAlign as Property.TextAlign,
