@celestemespinoza and @AlexBornkesselUSDS attended a meeting with the 0-5 team re: OMB/HHS Tribal leads. During this meeting, a connection was offered re: NHIB. While the 0-5 team will likely pursue some next steps there, the Equity team may also want to have a virtual meeting to better understand what "health equity on our terms" looks like (given that it is NHIB's May conference them).

Latest update: 0-5 likely won't make the May conference - will confirm for sure next week.

Regardless, how do we want to move forward as the equity team? A few ideas: 1) Hold a virtual meet-and-greet witih NIHB, w/ an intro from HHS and OMB. 2) See if we can meet NIHB people when we are in DC next (they are headquartered there). and/or 3) Attend in a listening and connecting capacity NIHB's May conference, which is aptly titled: Health Equity on Our Terms.
