Makes sense to eventually support this scenario. Design does not yet exist.

An algorithm has been raised by its author (url: https://birds-are-nice.me/software/risahash.html). Useful because it can use the same search algorithm as phash. Down side is sensitivity to time displacement.

A prospective scenario was proposed by a user on reddit.

In their own words:

I have a huge music library, over 1TB that has been acquired from various people's libraries and direct CD rips over many many years. however the lack of organization tools and knowledge at first left me with many many duplicate tracks. with different audio quality bit rates and file types.

• They are using an external service to identify songs
• The workflow is to remove lower bitrate songs that are otherwise the same
• Curator can be used to generate directory structure to another program
