Provide a way to stop generation

Provide a way to make chatgpt quit generating output. In ChatGPT, it shows a little 'stop' button instead of the 'mail-send' button while the output is in progress.

It kind of works but has these problems:

• If you don't press the stop button it doesn't go away when the output finishes
• It doesn't cancel the reader (reader.cancel())
• I'm not sure if the server is still working on the response; we want it to stop processing not just displaying. Calling cancel() might do that, I don't know.
• This is just a minor problem but the big button at that location is distracting
