DNG currently handles indexed files inefficiently if the regions are near one another. DNG should be able to intelligently shift between jumping and streaming to get to the next regions.

  • Separate output regions from input regions.
    • BAM
    • AD
  • Collapse input regions if they are near one another
  • Make "near" toggle-able ?
  • Stream between output regions that are part of the same input region.
