To improve the developer journey and overall experience, this enabler will research how to configure Visual Studio Code (VS Code) to support remote development within RDHPC environments.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Investigating how to set up VS Code for remote development over SSH with RDHPC.
  • Identifying necessary extensions and configurations for seamless Python development.
  • Enhancing capabilities for code editing, debugging, and testing directly from VS Code.
  • Documenting the setup process for current and future team members.
