Include building from source ? (DisplayLink-rpm)

Many corporate environments use various docking stations. To get support for DisplayLink on Fedora it seems we need to build from source (https://github.com/displaylink-rpm/displaylink-rpm).

Does anyone have a good idea for how to deal with this type of situation from a maintenance perspective?

Meaning, should/could we build it as part of the main Containerfile? Including support for Secure Boot?
Or better to put it as part of the first-init script?
Or create a third script, with its own automatic update script smh ?

I can't speak for secure boot but you could just download and install the RPMs in the containerfile?
